Aima Baig, a singer, has spoken out against a local media outlet that fabricated information about an earlier interview she gave.

The singer allegedly served them with a legal notice after learning that Baig had a crush on her older brother, according to the media source.

Baig has released images of the court papers on her Instagram account in response to the “shameless yellow journalism” and accusations levelled against her. She has also urged her industry peers to speak up against “false reporting.” According to the affidavit, the media outlet misled to the public on purpose in order to disparage Baig.

The lawsuit filing makes it very evident that the media outlet “spread the fake news” that Baig had a crush on her older brother by attributing an incorrect, misleading, and scandalous comment to her. The document further claims that a careful and unbiased listening to the previous interview that the media outlet is referring to would prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Baig never made such a claim.

The publication has been sued for defamation, and the lawsuit has requested Rs. 100 million in damages from them as well as an unreserved written apology that will be posted on all of their social media sites, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. It’s also necessary to remove the false news report.
