Rapper Theophilus London has been found safe after going missing for several months, according to a relative’s statement on Wednesday night.
“We have found Theo. He is safe and well,” the rapper’s cousin, Mikhail Noel, posted on Instagram. “At this time the family would love prayers and privacy. Thank you all!!!”
London’s family, who reported him missing to Los Angeles police last week and begged for the public’s assistance in finding him, didn’t receive any information in the post about where he had been discovered, where he had been, or why he hadn’t contacted them.
According to London’s family and friends, the musician was last spoken to in July in Los Angeles.
London, 35, was a frequent Instagram poster, although his last posts were also published in July.
London’s family had completely lost communication with him, according to an LAPD news release from December 28. He was last spotted in the Skid Row neighbourhood in October.
The rapper was reared in the Brooklyn neighbourhood of New York after being born in Trinidad & Tobago. He was recognised with a 2016 Grammy nomination for best rap performance for his appearance on Kanye West’s “All Day” with Paul McCartney.
