Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may ‘retreat for the rest of the year’ after both telling their sides of the story, according to the author of a biography on the couple.
According to Omid Scobie, co-author of Finding Freedom, there isn’t much else to say, so royal watchers can expect to see a shift in the months ahead.
Speaking of Harry, Mr Scobie told Radio 4’s Today program that he believes the couple “have to be quite careful right now”, adding that there has been a lot of focus on their private life recently and that their brand has been “very much about drama” and a “soap opera” that has been publicly played out.
“I think we’re going to see, for the rest of this year, a couple sort of retreating from a lot of what we’ve seen over the last few months.”
