Duolingo, widely known for its owl and language teaching skills, is currently working on a mathematics application for students between 3rd and 8th classes. The day the application got listed in the stock market, the co-founder and CEO, Luis von Ahn announced the launch of math app in the interview.

Reports hint that the app will be focused on young learners. It further mentions that the language teaching application wants its targeted users to have a classroom experience.

“If there are other subjects where we think somebody is doing a pretty good job and they have a similar mission to us, and they have a similar company culture,” Ahn said in the interview.

People are already presuming how the app would look; however, it is too soon to make assumptions what the app would additionally include. Regardless, it will be Duolingo’s first formal foray into an area of education beyond language.
