Qadri condemns shameful blasphemy act by Geo TV

Leader of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir ul Qadri labeled the blasphemy of Ahl-e-bait and Sahaba Karams (RA) in a program that aired on GEO TV.

He said that it is a tremendously shameful and dishonorable act and strongly condemned the act of GEO TV morning show, UTHO JAGO PAKISTAN. He also added this terrific act of GEO TV show for terribly hurting the feelings of billions of Muslims, all over the world.

Qadri stated that crossing all the social moral and religious limits is no journalism; freedom of media not at all means that the media as the fourth estate of the country as the leverage to do whatever they wanted and cross their limits while talking about Ahl-e-Bait and Sahaba Karams (RA).

The PAT leader said that the morning show which aired on the infamous Geo TV touched all the heights of silliness and disrespect. He warned such people to refrain from hurting the emotions of Muslims, for such an evil act cannot be tolerated in any society and a reaction from the public is natural. This is, however, not the only occasion on which the so-called entertainment channel has come under fire.
