“Maulana Diesel” mistake- GEO pays the price for wrong graphics

Another major controversy occurred when GEO News graphics titled Maulana Fazal ur Rehman’s picture as “Maulana Diesel”. The JUI-F leader, among the most experienced and well-established politicians of the country, was appearing among a panel of experts to provide analysis and insights on the upcoming Senate Elections.

When Maulana Fazal ur Rehman joined the conversation over the phone, his picture was captioned as “Maulana Diesel”. This costly for GEO Network since it created a storm on social media platforms. While some social media users found the incident to be quite funny, most of the public greatly criticized the channel for being involved in such a mistake.
