For how long Coronavirus will save Media Firon Mir Shakil?

Once again, Media Firon made Coronavirus the reason for not appearing in the National Accountability Court in Lahore after being summoned by NAB.

Mir Shakil-u-Rehman was summoned to appear in Lahore’s accountability court for the hearing of the illegal plot allotment case. Media Firon’s officials made Coronavirus the reason for not bringing him to court from the Services Hospital.

The court extended Media Firon Mir Shakil-ur-Rehman’s remand till June 15. According to NAB’s special prosecutor,

“Interior Ministry can not postpone an under trial case.”

The court postponed the case till the next hearing.

Mir Shakil-ur-Rehman is residing in the Services Hospital for an extended period of time without any sickness. The Media Firon meets his friends and family on a daily basis, still, he is unable to attend the court’s hearing.
