Air pollution in Indian capital has reached alarming levels, an oxygen bar in Delhi is offering customers a burst of fragrant, purified oxygen, for a price of 300 INR.

According to foreign media, New Delhi is the most polluted city in the world; smog has made breathing difficult; in view of smog, New Delhi is being offered 15 minutes breathing in pure oxygen.

The name of oxygen purifier bar is Oxy Pure which offered the customers to inhale oxygen with essential oils such as lavender and lemongrass through tubes strapped to their noses, with a 15-minute session costing 300 Indian rupees.

26 years old owner of the bar Ayavir Kumar, said that this is the first commercial facility of-its-kind oxygen bar in Delhi, in which citizens can get rid from the city’s polluted atmosphere for a while.

He further said that we get 30-40 customer who come in to take in oxygenated air every day and we are also providing portable cans to people, they can carry it where they want.

People criticized Modi government for not taking effective measures to reduce pollution, doctors said that New Delhi has seen a 10 to 15 per cent increase in heart disease due to smog, while authorities continue to urge people not to leave their homes.

Indian capital Delhi is one of the most polluted cities in the world and on November 16 Dehli was also shrouded in a pale yellow haze as an official air quality index ranged between “very poor” to “severe” levels of up to 470 on a scale reaching 500 at several monitoring centers.

Earlier, the second week of November due to air pollution, authorities declared a pollution emergency and shutting schools and also advised the elderly and infants to stay indoors.
