Aids in Pakistan-Alarming situations

There are over 1 lac 65 thousand cases of Aids in Pakistan.

According to the ministry of health, over 36 thousand 902 cases of Aids are registered in Pakistan.

Moreover, there are 3 thousand 717 patients of this deadliest disease in the capital Islamabad.

Furthermore, the number of patients in Sindh is 10 thousand 931, whereas the number of patients suffering from Aids in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 3 thousand 360.

Above all, there are 1 thousand 104 patients of Aids in Baluchistan.

Shockingly, the Punjab government failed to acquire 100,000 test kits. The number of cases in Punjab has increased to 18,556.

It seems that the largest AIDS control programme in the country may not function properly.

Experts fear that the number of patients may increase to a great level in Punjab.

Given that Punjab has the greatest number of cases among all the provinces, according to reports.

Given that Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) AIDS was spreading rapidly in Pakistan and over 9 thousand 565 people are confirmed to have the disease so far last year.

World AIDS Day: Street children most vulnerable in Pakistan

During this year, 895 people, including 754 children, are confirmed to have HIV in Ratto Dero, Larkana.

Among the registered ones, the registered patients include 18 thousand 220 males, 4 thousand 170 females, 564 male children, and 426 female children last year.

Among the registered ones, 20 thousand 994 patients were being treated last year.
