Pakistan’s the first affordable and bloodless dialysis machine has been successfully invented.
A prominent bio-chemical company has invested the first bloodless and affordable dialysis machine to facilitate kidney patients. This machine will also help prevent the spread of hepatitis by traditional dialysis practices.
A press release was issued on Monday according to which a private company invented the hand-carry smart dialysis machine, created considering the harsh local conditions.
The spokesman for the company Fawad Bajwa has called it Pakistan’s first advanced biomedical device designed and founded by Pakistani-American innovator Farrukh Usman and his local and international teams.
No machine with advanced machines was developed in Pakistan before. However, this newly-developed device will help kidney failure patients to access affordable, pain-free, bloodless, and portable dialysis. Patients can easily use the device in their homes so they can save money and go to their jobs.
The spokesperson has stated that patients will be able to shift treatment in centers to home and decrease the burden on the public healthcare system. In addition to this, this device will also help them get rid of hepatitis and other infections spread due to traditional dialysis machines.
