The 60-year-old person, identified by the father’s name Wan, stated that a few months earlier he suddenly noticed the feeling of a foreign entity in his eyes, however, he assumed the problem was caused by fatigue and left it untreated.

In eastern China, Jiangsu Province of Suzhou district he was brought for treatment when the situation exacerbated thereby increasing the pain of eyes.

Dr. Xi Ting after conducting the medical examination found that under the right eyelid is a bunch of tiny worms.

The medical staff of the hospital made the video from the operation in which Dr. Xi Ting was witnessed removing a cluster of worms from the patient’s right eyelid and putting them in a transparent jar.

As per the reports, approximately 20 wriggling worms commonly named nematodes are removed.

Dr. Xi Ting also stated that all these larvae completed a period of 15 to 20 days and then develop into nematodes.

Wan also told that he routinely exercise outside and might find it the only reason to come in contact with animals as he doesn’t keep pets at home.
As worms such as nematodes can be transmitted to humans, the veterinarian advised animal owners to be vigilant about pet hygienic practices.

He also urged patients to consult a doctor who counters problems such as blurred vision or pain.
