Home Remedies to treat Frizzy Hair this season
The Winter season is all set to hit Karachi soon. But dry air has already blanketed the city. Many people these days are facing frizzy hair problems. Frizziness can be caused due to a lack of moisture.
Here are some essential products you can use to treat frizziness.
Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is acidic. It helps your hair gain the required acidic pH value. Healthy hair has an acidic pH value that ranges between 4.5 and 5.5. In addition to this, apple cider can also remove product residue.
You can use apple cider vinegar through these steps:
- Mix 1/3 cup of organic apple cider vinegar with 1 quart of warm water.
- Pour as much as is needed onto your hair. You can store the rest for later use, or use all of it, based on your hair’s thickness and length.
- Leave the mixture on your hair for 1 to 3 minutes.
- Rinse with cool water.
- Use once or twice weekly.
Coconut oil is very beneficial for hair care as it is easily absorbed and can reduce frizz by adding moisture and decreasing protein loss.
- Take a small amount of organic coconut oil into your palms. Gently massage it through your hair and scalp.
- Leave on for 15 minutes.
- Wash your hair with shampoo to remove the coconut oil.
Eggs work like a miracle for your hair. They are rich in saturated fats, biotin, and vitamins. You can make an egg mask through these steps:
- Whip up two eggs until they’re frothy.
- Apply the egg mix to your hair and scalp.
- Cover your hair with a plastic cap.
- Leave the mask on for 15 minutes.
- Shampoo thoroughly.
Tips to prevent frizzy hair
- Avoid washing your hair too often. It is because frequent washes can make your hair dry and frizzy.
- If you are washing your hair, try to rinse them in cool or warm water. Reduce less contact with heat. Avoid dryers or straighteners.
- Also, try not to use the highest setting on your styling tools. Make sure to apply anti-frizz or smoothing cream before styling.
- Make sure to cover your hair with a baseball cap or bandana while taking part in sports, swimming, and other exercises if you have frizzy hair.
- Apply weekly masks and products designed to lessen frizz. Spare some time for your hair care.
