Coronavirus is once again strengthening its roots in Pakistan as 2,179 fresh cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.

According to the data given by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 65 Covid-19 patients have lost their lives. The death toll has reached 11,623 on Saturday.

The number of confirmed cases has reached 543,214 in Pakistan. Over 41,435 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours.

On the other hand, over 498,152 patients have recovered so far whereas 2,111 patients are in critical condition. Over 7,889,741 tests have been conducted so far in Pakistan.

Sindh has remained the worst-hit province by a coronavirus, with 245,663 confirmed cases. Punjab has reported 156,928 confirmed cases, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 66,679 cases, and Islamabad has reported 41,255 confirmed cases whereas Balochistan has reported 18,809 cases. On the other hand, Gilgit-Baltistan has reported 8,972 confirmed cases.

Moreover, 4,716 patients have died in Punjab, 3,986 have died in Sindh, 1,890 in KPK, 475 in Islamabad, 195 in Balochistan, 259 in Azad Kashmir, and 102 in Gilgit Baltistan.

How To Register For COVID-19 Vaccine In Pakistan?

As Pakistan expects the first batch of coronavirus vaccine by 31st January, the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has finalized the COVID-19 vaccine strategy.

According to the details, three coronavirus vaccines including Russia’s Sputnik-V, China’s Sinopharm, and UK’s Oxford-AstraZeneca have been approved by the government so far.
