The five easily available kitchen ingredients are all that you require to cure your never-ending stubborn pigmentation spots.

1. Potato

Potatoes work really well on blemishes and pigmented areas due to their anti-pigmentation properties. Slice one raw potato into half and dip the part into some water. Rub the sliced potato for 10 minutes on the affected areas in a circular motion. Wash the face with lukewarm water.

Repeat the procedure twice or thrice times a week for better results.

2. Yogurt

The lactic acid present in yogurt aids in shedding the dead cells from the skin. To reduce the spots from the skin take one tablespoon of fresh yogurt and apply it to the blemishes for 20 minutes. Now wash your face with lukewarm water.

3. Coconut Oil

Coconut oil does not only help in removing the dead skin cells but also protects the skin from harmful UV rays of the sun. Firstly, wash your face to remove dirt from the skin then massage the coconut oil for about 20 to 25 minutes. Wash your face with lukewarm water after 20 to 25 minutes.

The process can be repeated twice or thrice times a week for better results.

4. Papaya

The exfoliating properties of papaya eliminate the dead cells of the skin resulting in inducing the growth of new cells and curing hyperpigmentation. Take tablespoons of papaya extract, milk, and organic honey in a bowl and mix all the ingredients properly. Apply the face-pack for about 20 minutes and then wash your face with cold water.

5. Sandalwood

The paste of sandalwood is great for lightening the skin pigmentation. Take some sandalwood powder and mix it very well with rose water. Apply the paste on your face for about 15-20 minutes. Rise off your face with lukewarm water.
