The next phase of vaccination begins today in Pakistan as people aged 60 and above will be given vaccine jabs.
Senior-most citizens will be vaccinated first, announced Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr. Faisal Sultan.
Healthcare workers and those to get vaccines have been urged by Dr. Faisal to protect themselves and others against the virus.
It is pertinent to mention that 43 coronavirus patients have died in the last 24 hours. Moreover, 1,786 new cases have been reported in Pakistan.
On the other hand, the death toll has reached 13,324 whereas the number of positive cases has reached 596,239 so far. Apart from that, 565,216 patients have recovered from the virus and 1,664 are in critical condition.
