Dhu al-Hijjah moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia.
According to the details, Dhu al-Hijjah moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia after which Hajj will be on 9 August and Youm-e-Arafat on 10 August. Eid-ul-Adha will be on 11 August.
Director GPH mentioned that the plans for this Hajj include 140 initiatives as well as a number of elements related to work development, performance enhancement, human resource training, and working around the clock to ensure that Hujjaaj at Allah’s Sacred House and visitors at the Prophet’s Mosque are provided with the best of services.
This demonstrates the efforts and diligence of the nation’s leadership – may Allah grant it continued success – related to the Two Holy Mosques, as well as its care for all of the worshippers who come to them.
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that after the moon sighting in Saudi Arabia, Eid-ul-Adha in Pakistan will be on 12 August in Pakistan.
The total number of Hajj Pilgrims from Pakistan stands at 150,000.
Earlier, government also announced Eid-ul-Adha vacations from 12-15 August.
