Lock down in Kashmir enters the 45th day

The crisis of humanity is reaching an alarming proportion while the lock down and blockade has entered 45th day in occupied Kashmir, today.

India has stepped up its state terrorism in the occupied territory increasing its brutalities against the innocent Kashmiris. It has turned the Kashmir valley into a big open-air jail and a hell for its inhabitants.

In Srinagar, at least a dozen witnesses said police and paramilitary officials had raided several homes, picking up dozens of men and damaging their houses with stones and rods.

The authorities have turned the valley, particularly Srinagar, into a military garrison by deploying thousands of Indian troops and police personnel in every nook and corner.

Yesterday, The Supreme Court of India heard a petition against the crippled situation in Indian occupied Kashmir after abrogating Article 370.

According to the details, The Supreme Court directed the government to restore normalcy in the valley, stating that the orders are given to Kashmir Government over the request of Farooq Abdullah’s release.

The Supreme Court on Monday allowed Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad to visit Kashmir. Chief Justic Ranjan Gogoi stated that he will visit himself if needed.

Congress leaders will be allowed to visit Srinagar, Anantnag and Baramulla. However, the top court restrained them from carrying out any political activities like taking out rallies or any other public meetings.

The top court issued a notice to the Center and state on Jammu and Kashmir people’s conference’s plea, that Indian president has no rights to revoke article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.
