Horrendous scandal of dark web exposed

Dark web child pornography scandal unfolds in South Korea. Law enforcement officials of United States, the United Kingdom and South Korea has conducted joint operations and arrested 337 people linked to the Dark Web in 38 countries.

According to the foreign news agency, law enforcement officials of the US, UK and South Korea have stated that the South Korea-based dark web child pornography site that sold horrendous videos of children explicit content for digital currency has been exposed as a result of the joint action.

The authorities said that the computers have been taken into custody during the operation.

More than 1 million bitcoin addresses have been recovered to the aforementioned website, while this website has a capacity of about 1 million users for registration.

At least 23 underage victims in the US, the UK and Spain were recovered as result of the operation.

While giving a media briefing the US Justice Department said that the site collected at least $370,000 worth of bitcoin before it was taken down in March 2018 and that the currency was laundered through three unnamed digital currency exchanges.

According to a foreign news agency, a federal jury in Washington has charged a 23-year-old South Korean man with running a “Welcome to Video “website.

Australian police have also launched an investigation by detaining 300 accused linked to the child pornography network.
