One person was killed, several left injured as a deadly typhoon of 8-year Japanese history ‘Hagibis’ has approached Tokyo bay.

According to an International news agency, the storm has weakened after it approached the bay but it still remains highly dangerous.

The heavy winds left broken windows, scarred facades and took roofs of several buildings along.

Rugby World cup match, concerts and various other events have been postponed after the typhoon alert.

Several households in the Kanto, Chiba and Tokyo areas are without power, locals reported.

Evacuation advisories have been issued throughout much of the Tokyo region to rescue the locals of Typhoon-hit areas.

The deadly typhoon which badly affected Central and Southern Japan, will now predictably cause torrential rains and landsliding.

Winds between 100 and 130 kph are expected to lash southern Japan, including Tokyo, for most of the mid-morning through evening. Up to 200 millimeters of rainfall is also predicted to cause flooding.
