Slovakia: 13 Died due to collision between bus and truck

At least 13 people have died and 17 have gotten injured due to collision between a truck and the passenger bus in Slovakia.

According to the details, a passenger bus collided with a truck in Nitra-90KM east of the capital city Bratislava. At least 13 deaths have been reported and 17 have gotten injured in this tragic incident. The injured have been taken to the hospital, three of the injured ones are in critical condition.

According to the foreign news agency, four children are also among the deceased, whereas high school students are also present on the bus.

According to Slovakia’s interior minister, this is the deadliest incident of the country.

Note that Slovakian Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini has posted on Facebook and has expressed condolences over the incident. He has also informed that he is ending his official visit to return to the country.

According to the rescue officials, there is a fear that the number of deaths could rise.

It should be remembered that a passenger bus had fallen into the ditch in African country Peru one day before this incident. Consequently, at least 19 had died and several had gotten injured.
