2 Died as a bridge collapsed in Toulouse, France

A teenage girl and a truck driver died as a bridge collapsed in Toulouse, south-west of France.

According to the international news agency, a 15-year-old girl and a truck driver have died in the incident whereas 5 people have gotten injured.

A truck and two vehicles fell into the river.

Investigations have been opened and rescue operations have been started after the incident.

80 teams and three helicopters have participated in the relief work.

Five people, including a local and two relief workers, have gotten injured in this tragic incident. They were trying to rescue the victims.

According to the local authorities, the 15-year-old girl was traveling with her mother in the car when the bridge collapsed.

The operation lasted for a day. A truck had also fallen into the river and the dead body of its driver was found during the operation. The operation included helicopters and dozens of emergency services personnel.
