At least 15 citizens were killed in Kunduz province and 13 were wounded in two roadside blasts in Sar-e-Pul province, Afghanistan.

According to the details, 15 people, including 6 women, six young girls, two children, and a man were killed in Khan Abad district of Kunduz Province. 2 people were also wounded in this incident.

The governor of Kunduz province Abdul Jabbar Naeemi has informed that people were going to Imam Sahib District to attend a wedding event when their vehicle hit a roadside mine in Khan Abad district in Kunduz province. He also claimed that Taliban insurgents had planted a bomb at the roadside.

Another incident happened in which a car bomb explosion caused 12 injuries in Sar-e-Pul province.

A spokesperson of Sar-e-Pul province Noor Agha Faizi said that 13 people were injured in a car bomb explosion when the Taliban were taking their car towards Sar-e-Pul district from Sayyad district at 4 p.m.

These are the recent tragic events happened in Afghanistan. Other incidents of similar nature had occurred before in Afghanistan. At least 34 people had wounded in a series of explosions that occurred in restaurants and public squares in Jalalabad, Afghan’s eastern city.  The country had marked the 100th anniversary of its independence.
