US President Donald Trump and French leader Emanuel Macron had a conflict in a meeting ahead of the Nato summit. Both the leaders scuffled over Nato’s role, the Islamic State group (IS) fighters and Turkey.

US President Donald Trump criticized Macron and called Macron’s views about Nato as “nasty”.

Whereas, Emanuel Macron has decided to remain determined by his statements.

According to details, the French President called Nato as ‘brain dead’ last month after the dispute arose between Trump and Macron. He said this as according to him, the US commitment to the alliance was diminishing.

However, Trump on Tuesday said French leader had become, “very disrespectful”. He also said that nobody needs Nato more than France, as France had a high unemployment rate.

Later on, they both had a joint conference Trump emphasized that the two countries had, “done a lot of good things together.” However, Macron decided to stand by his words. –

According to the foreign news agency, the relations between Turkey and other member states have already started deteriorating before the summit.

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that for the Baltic region, he will not favor Nato’s plan if it does not support Turkey over its fight against Kurdish groups.

It should be remembered that World Leaders are in London to attend the 70th anniversary of the Western military alliance.
