At least 8 civilians were killed in a rocket attack on a school in Idlib.
According to international news sources, the attack was carried out yesterday by Syrian government forces.
The White Helmets civil defence agency informed that two women and four children were among the victims.
According to sources, at least 16 others were wounded in the incident.
The agency also informed that at the time of the attack, the school was packed with teachers and students.
According to the war monitor, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the incident had happened in the rebel-held town of Sarmeen in the northwest province of Syria.
The attack was a part of consistent offenses, Syrian troops have been capturing more than 40 villages and hamlets in Idlib over the past two weeks.
Given that the Syrian government and allied Russians had introduced an important campaign last year in April against rebels in Idlib.
The offenses had increased in recent weeks and thousands were forced to rush for a safer area.
Given that 370,000 people had been killed due to civil war since its start in 2011 with the brutality of anti-government protests.
Over 11,215 people, including more than 1000 children were killed in 2019 due to deadliest attacks.
