Boris Johnson to hail “dawn of a new era” today
Prime Minister Boris Johnson will shower the “dawn of a new era” today, as the UK is heading to leave European Union after 47 years.
Boris Johnson will declare today that Brexit is “not an end but a beginning”.
Boris Johnson will also talk about the relationship with the other 27 EU states as “a moment of real national renewal and change” after he will declare “dawn of a new era”
International news sources say that major changes will not be noticed immediately, as the UK commences a “transition period.”
Several EU laws will still be in force until the end of this year until the UK aims to develop a permanent free trade agreement with the EU.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn emphasized the country not to “turn inwards” but “build a truly internationalist, diverse and outward-looking Britain'”.
Earlier before that, The parliament has passed legislation on the implementation of the Brexit deal.
The EU Bill is now on the way to the royal assent.
The bill had passed according to which the UK will leave the European Union on 31st January.
PM Boris Johnson quoted that the UK is now able to “move forward as one” and put “years of rancor and division behind it”.
Note that Boris Johnson had won the elections with the majority last month. The party had won with more than 86 votes in the general elections.
