Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has released an official statement following the today’s events in the middles east.

An Official Source of Saudi Arabia announced “KSA Follows Events in fraternal Iraq, Resulting from Escalation of Tensions, Terrorist Acts, It previously Denounced, Warned of their Repercussions.”

They further stated “with knowledge of the operations and threats exposing the security of the region and the threats posed by terrorist militias that require their cessation, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in light of the rapid developments, calls for the importance of self-restraint to ward off all acts that may lead to aggravating the situation, with unbearable consequences.”

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reaffirms that the international community must fulfill its responsibilities to take the necessary measures to ensure the security and stability of such a vital region, to the entire world.”

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ elite Quds Force has been assassinated today.

Statement from Pentagon explained, “At the direction of the President, the US military has taken decisive action to protect US personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani.

“The strike was aimed at deterring future Iranian attack plans. The United States will continue to take all necessary action to protect our people and our interests wherever they are around the world.”

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on the demise of the commander of the IRGC’s Quds Forces Major General Qasem Soleimani that a severe revenge awaits the criminals who have stained their hands with Major General Qasem Soleimani & the other martyrs’ blood.

The incident had reported after news of the strike at Baghdad’s international airport. It was said that numerous people had died in the strike.

Given that the strike was carried out days after the US embassy in Baghdad was attacked by protesters and had resulted in clashes. General Qasem Suleimani had approved the attacks, according to Pentagon.

Iraq’s revolutionary Guards have confirmed that Iraqi militia leader Abu Mahdi al-Muhadis was also assassinated in the incident.

Maj Gen Qasem Soleimani had been leading Iran’s Quds Force since 1998.
