Taliban are good fighters, but now they are tired: Trump

WASHINGTON: US President said in the press conference that Taliban are good fighters, but now they are tired.

According to the details, The president said the administration was thinking about closing the Mexican border to fight the spread of the coronavirus only to say a few minutes later that the border was not a problem.

Trump said in a presser, “I want to remember all of the people — all of the great, great men and women that have lost their lives in the war, and to their parents and wives and husbands and families, brothers and sisters.  These are great, great people.  Many lives, over such a long period of time, have been lost.”

US President also said in a press conference, “And we just signed an agreement that puts us in a position to get it done, bring us down to in the vicinity of 8,000 troops.  The United Nations was informed of everything.  And NATO has been great.  Secretary Stoltenberg has been fantastic.  I want to thank the United Nations for the help they gave.  And I also want to thank and congratulate Secretary Stoltenberg of NATO.  Twenty-nine countries involved and all approving, all very happy with what’s going on.”

“I’ll be meeting personally with Taliban leaders in the not-too-distant future and will be very much hoping that they will be doing what they say they’re going to be doing,” the president said at a news conference in Washington.
