Brutality is as its peak as Indian police killed 5 more Kashmiri youth in their recent act of terrorism.

A total of 9 youngsters have died in the last 24 hours.

Kashmiri media reported that the killings took place in Keran area of Kupwara district during continued operation. Sources said that an Indian soldier was also killed and another soldier was wounded during the operation.

Earlier, fourth youngsters were killed in an attack in Hardmanguri area of Kulgam district yesterday. The names of martyred youth identified were Sadam Malik, Aijaz Ahmed Naikoo, Shahid Sadiq Malik and Waqar Ahmed. Three Indian soldiers were also killed.

Several Kashmiri students who have completed their isolation period in Jaisalmer city of Rajasthan after they came back from Iran last month.

A fourth-year female student at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), informed the local media, “With every passing day, we are losing hope,” “We don’t know if we could ever go back to our homes. We have been left in the lurch, abandoned,” she added.

“Now, we have been left in dark, unattended and uninformed. We have no idea what’s going on here as the authorities are not being honest with us,”

Another student said, “The temperature is rising every passing day. We aren’t used to staying in 35 Degree Celsius. It is really hard for those students who come from hilly areas,”

“We are ready to pay for the tickets if government airlifts us. If the government wishes, we can be home in hours,”
