British Prime Minister Boris Johnson admitted to Hospital

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson who tested positive for coronavirus has admitted to hospital for further tests.

UK Media reported that;

The Downing Street called it a “precautionary step” and it is understood his admission not an emergency.

The statement further said that Boris Johnson taken to hospital on medical advice.

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab designated to take over if the prime minister is unable to perform his duties but government sources said Johnson was still in charge.

Medical experts said doctors would likely be assessing Johnson’s lung and heart function.

Boris Johnson , 55, who was not taken in an ambulance, is understood to be receiving treatment at an undisclosed central London NHS hospital.

Aides confirmed he was spending the night there and would remain “as long as necessary”.

The total number confirmed Coronavirus infections has passed 47000.

Of which 4974 people have died till now.
