The federal government of Germany has announced new measures on Wednesday (April 22) to fight the new coronavirus pandemic.
According to the details, the state has made mandatory to wear cloth face masks in public.
A German state, North Rhine-Westphalia announced that all citizens must cover their nose and mouth with a face mask in public places.
The premier of North Rhine-Westphalia said that they have taken the decision together with federal state.
Be clear that Germany’s eastern state of Saxony was the first federal state to make wearing masks compulsory.
The decision will remain in place until at least May 3.
Earlier on April 19, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said non-essential shops will be allowed to open, with hygiene precautions.
