After three unsuccessful IVF procedures, a 68-year old woman in Nigeria has given birth to twin babies, a Nigerian hospital reported.
According to the details, on April 23, Lagos University Teaching Hospital announced Margaret Adenuga gave birth to a boy and a girl via cesarean section after 37 weeks of pregnancy.
Moreover, Her husband is 77 and the couple tied the knot in 1974.
They long wanted to have children, but had three unsuccessful attempts at IVF treatments.
However, according to the woman’s doctor, it was a high risk birth.
