An elderly couple in China have found a 32-year-old son.
According to the details, 34-year-old Mao Yin, who was only 2 years old in 1988, was abducted from a hotel and was reunited with his Chinese parents 32 years later by the police using facial resection technology.
Mao was born on February 23, 1986. His father, Mao Zhenjing, brought her home from the nursery on October 17, 1988. Mao Yin got thirsty on the way and asked his father for water. The father stopped at the door of a hotel on the way to get water. While Mao Zhenjing was cooling the hot water, his son was abducted.
Later, the parents searched for their son all over the city, put up posters of his disappearance, distributed advertisements and sought the help of a TV channel, but they did not succeed.
The father quit his job to search for the child, distributing more than 100,000 advertisements for his son’s disappearance. According to the South China Morning Post, they conducted about 300 different investigations but found no trace.
In 2007, Lee began working as a volunteer for an NGO. The organization’s name was “Children Return Home.” The organization helps parents who have lost their children. Meanwhile, Li Jingzhi helped reunite 29 children with their families.
In April this year, police received a report that a man from China‘s southwestern province of Suzhou had adopted a child several years earlier.
Police found the adopted child, now a 34-year-old man. The man underwent a DNA test to see if he had anything to do with Li Jingzhi and Zhenjing, and the test was positive.
Police say Mao was sold by his kidnapers to a childless couple for 6,000 Yuan.
