Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sent good wishes to the newly-wed couple Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Princess Beatrice got married to a property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi a few days ago. The private wedding ceremony held on Friday due to restrictions. Official photos of their wedding ceremony have been released.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not attend the wedding due to restrictions. They are currently living in Los Angeles with their son Archie. Also, Prince William and Kate Middleton did not attend the ceremony due to pandemic.
According to the international news source, less than 20 people were invited to the wedding. Most of the guests were “immediate” family members of the bride and groom.
“It was, for the most part, his and her immediate family,” the source said.
The wedding was not announced in advance, it was held in private. In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: “The couple decided to hold a small private ceremony with their parents and siblings following the postponement of their wedding in May.
“Working within Government guidelines, the service was in keeping with the unique circumstances while enabling them to celebrate their wedding with their closest family.”
Due to coronavirus pandemic, only 30 people can attend wedding ceremonies in England.
It had been “planned for some time” and scheduled to accommodate the Queen, the source added.
Only parents and siblings of the couple, and Beatrice’s grandparents, the Queen and Prince Philip attended the wedding.
The Cambridges congratulated the coupe in an Instagram post.
They wrote: “Congratulations to HRH Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edorado Mapelli Mozzi who were married in a small private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor on Friday!”
