Pakistan Defence Day: Meeting held at Diplomatic Quarters Riyadh

On the occasion of Pakistan Defence Day, a ceremony was held at the Diplomatic Quarters in the Saudi capital Riyadh. The meeting was attended by Pakistan’s Ambassador Raja Ali Ijaz, Military Attach, and Retired General Raheel Sharif.

General Raheel Sharif said regarding the defence day of Pakistan that,

“This is the day when Pakistan’s fearless and brave forces successfully defended their homeland by successfully thwarting the foreign invasion of the beloved homeland.”

He went on to say that,

“The government of Pakistan, the Pakistani nation and the Armed Forces of Pakistan would continue their struggle till the independence of Kashmir.”

On the occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan Raja Ali Ijaz lauded the performance of the Armed Forces of Pakistan and said,

“This day is a bright chapter in the national and military history in which the people of Pakistan and the Army united to ensure national defence.”

Military defence Brigadier Haroon Raja also said that,

“The Pakistan Army has always played its best role in ensuring national defence as well as peace in the region thanks to its professionalism.”
