The ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan was violated on the first day of the US-brokered talks in Nagorno-Karabakh, and fighting between the two forces continues.

According to the details, the ceasefire agreed upon in the US mediation was implemented today and on the first day, both countries accused each other of violating.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in a televised address that he wanted a political and military solution to the conflict.

On the other hand, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Vovayi Pashinyan said in a statement on social media that “Armenia is abiding by the ceasefire.”

It is believed that hundreds of lives have been lost so far in the fighting that began on September 27, while two regular ceasefire attempts by Russia have failed.
