Top US expert Dr. Anthony Fauci has mocked the White House for hosting an event last month before coronavirus cases increased in the house.

Dr. Fauci said that the president’s revelation of his judicial nominee was a “superspreader event”.

He told the international news agency, “The data speak for themselves – we had a superspreader event in the White

House, and it was in a situation where people were crowded together and were not wearing masks.”

Dr. Fauci also said that experts have been suggesting mask-wearing for the last six months, and condemned talk of a coronavirus cure.

It should be remembered that an event at the White House happened on 26 September for the president’s nomination of Amy Coney Barrett as a Supreme Court judge. That event is thought to be the cause of the localized outbreak, as several attendees have contracted the virus.

On the other hand, President Donald Trump is likely to give a speech from the White House balcony to a group gathered on the South Lawn.
