US Donald Trump has been asked to remain quarantined as one of his closest aides Hope Hicks reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.

News sources revealed that Ms. Hicks has shown symptoms of the infection. She has been isolated on Air Force One on the trip back from Minnesota.

White House spokesman Judd Deere did not confirm Ms. Hicks’ medical condition.

But he said in a statement to US media: “The president takes the health and safety of himself and everyone who works in support of him and the American people very seriously.”

Hope Hicks has traveled with President Trump on Air Force One to a TV debate in Ohio on Tuesday.

White House Reporter said that she was in closer quarters with him aboard the helicopter Marine One on Wednesday.

Ms. Hicks was seen getting off Air Force in Cleveland without wearing a mask. She later traveled with Mr. Trump a day later to a rally in Minnesota.

Mr. Trump and US First Lady Melania Trump are awaiting their test results, according to the Associated Press news agency.

Trump and Biden clash in chaotic debates

Conflicts between President Donald Trump and his rival Joe Biden have occurred as both faces each other in the upcoming General elections 2020.

Both fought over the pandemic, violence at protests, the economy, and even their families. They were seen angrily shouting.

As per the opinion polls, Mr. Biden has a steady single-digit lead over Donald Trump with 35 days.

Donald Trump accused Mr. Biden of being beholden to socialists in his party, saying: “They’re going to dominate you, Joe, you know that.”
