Israel Cabinet has approved a visa exemption agreement with the UAE according to which the UAE citizens will not be required a visa to travel to Israel.

As per the details, the visa exemption deal approved by the Israeli cabinet will allow the UAE to travel to Israel with prior approval for a visa for a maximum of 90 days.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has appreciated the deal with the UAE which will promote tourism and the economy of the two countries.

“We have approved a visa waiver agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. This is important for tourism and the economy that is developing between us,” Netanyahu said on Twitter. “This is the first Arab country with which we have signed such an agreement,” he said.

UAE Sheikh invites Israeli President

Earlier, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has invited Israeli President Reuven Rivlin to visit the UAE.

As per the details, President Rivlin sent a message to Sheikh Mohamed during an exchange of messages on Tuesday. They discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Israeli President has also extended an invitation to the Sheikh to visit Israel. He expressed appreciation for the efforts made to sign the peace deal as well.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohamed appreciated the cooperation that led to signing the peace agreement earlier. He invited the president to visit the UAE.
