‘STOP THE COUNT!’ Trump Shouts On Twitter

Hours after the US presidential election closed, the full results were not released, but Democratic candidate Joe Biden narrowly won the battlefields of Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona, limiting President Trump’s path to a second term.

In another Tweet, he wrote, “ANY VOTE THAT CAME IN AFTER ELECTION DAY WILL NOT BE COUNTED!”

The message was enough to spread unrest among the American people and Trump supporters. Supporters of both parties took to the streets in several cities after President Trump called for a halt to the count. One party raised the slogan “Count every vote” and the other chanted “Stop the count”.
