Donald Trump has rejected the election results right after US broadcasters CNN, NBC News and CBS News projected that Biden had won the election after winning the decisive state of Pennsylvania.
Trump said in a statement, “The simple fact is this election is far from over.”
Trump claimed that “Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor.”
Trump said that his legal team will start prosecuting his case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld.
Few hours ago, Donald Trump claimed on the social networking site Twitter that he had won by a big margin.
I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!

Earlier, hours after the US presidential election closed, the full results were not released, but Democratic candidate Joe Biden narrowly won the battlefields of Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona, limiting President Trump’s path to a second term.
President Trump called for a halt to the count he Tweeted ‘Stop The Count!.
In another Tweet, he wrote, “ANY VOTE THAT CAME IN AFTER ELECTION DAY WILL NOT BE COUNTED!”
The message was enough to spread unrest among the American people and Trump supporters. Supporters of both parties took to the streets in several cities after President Trump called for a halt to the count. One party raised the slogan “Count every vote” and the other chanted “Stop the count”. The situation has taken a turn for the worse, with fears that violent protests could erupt if the election results are disputed.
President Trump has started a legal battle, but what will be his future? Questions are being raised about this. A petition has been filed in a Michigan court by President Trump to stop the counting, alleging that his representatives did not have “meaningful access” to monitor the vote and the count.
A similar petition has been filed in Pennsylvania. After filing the petitions, President Trump himself gave an answer on his future and said that his lawyers had given the petitions but now what is the benefit, the loss that was supposed to happen has happened. At the same time, President Trump questioned the credibility of the US presidential election. There is a flood of petitions for legal action against these election results.
