President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani is being treated in hospital after contracting coronavirus.

He took to Twitter and thanked well-wishers for their wishes.
Thank you to all my friends and followers for all the prayers and kind wishes.

Coronavirus in the US
The US is dealing with the highest number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the world. According to Johns Hopkins University, around 14.6 million people have been infected whereas 281,234 patients have died – the highest figures of any country in the world.
Trump administration is often criticized for its ineffective safety guidance and handling.
Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus task force coordinator, said on Sunday, “I hear community members parroting back those situations, parroting back that masks don’t work, parroting back that we should work towards herd immunity,”
“This is the worst event that this country will face,” she said.
