Dubai opens door to its new island “Deira Islands” as it will be welcoming its first visitors today (Thursday).
According to the details, the first property on Deira Islands, with an 800-room resort, will open for visitors at 10:00 am. In the coming months, more hotels and beachfront properties will be opened as Nakheel, the developers, hopes to create the same sort of environment that its original ‘island’ – the Palm – holds.
Nakheel Chairman Mohammed Al-Shaibani said that,
“Nakheel has a long, successful history of creating and delivering a diverse range of tourism and leisure projects in line with government goals. And I am delighted to see our first hospitality joint venture come to fruition.”
