At least four people were killed in a roadside bomb explosion in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
According to the local media, the administrative chief of the district Khogyani Shams-ul-Haq Safi said that a roadside bomb exploded in the Kodakhel area of Zawa village late last afternoon and killed four civilians, including the driver. All the killed civilians were male, the Khogyani district chief specified.
On Sunday, a separate bomb and gun attacks left at least three dead in Kabul. Local police said that a sticky bomb attached to an armored vehicle in northern Kabul killed two and wounded at least two others.
On December 7, a car bomb attack wounded at least 35 people, including women and children, in Kandahar province. Officials said the attack near the headquarters of Daman district police was carried out using a Mazda mini truck.
As per reports, the bombing damaged parts of the building along with several nearby houses. Fifteen civilians became victims of the attack along with several police officers, operatives of Afghanistan’s intelligence agency the National Directorate of Security, and the district police chief, Abdul Wadoud.
