UAE welcomes formation of new government in Yemen

The UAE has welcomed the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement between the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council.

As per the details, the UAE has also welcomed the formation of a government of political competencies in Yemen. It has hoped that the move will be a step towards a political solution to the Yemeni crisis.

A statement was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. It commended the pivotal role of Saudi Arabia in implementing the Riyadh Agreement and its support for all actions that serve the interest of the Yemeni people and contribute to their stability and security.

The Ministry has also talked about the significances of the Yemeni forces’ solidarity and cooperation. It has urged them to prioritize the national interest while addressing specific dangers stemming from the Houthi coup.

Above all, the Ministry also committed to stand by the Yemeni people and to support their aspirations for development, prosperity, peace, and stability.
