The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has witnessed a slight drop in Coronavirus cases here on Monday.
According to a statement from UAE’s Health Ministry, the country has recorded 1,148 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, taking the tally of infections to 177,577.
Two more deaths are also reported due to COVID-19 complications, taking the country’s death toll to 594.
The new patients were detected after the ministry conducted 87,635 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours.
According to the ministry, all of the patients are in stable condition and are receiving the necessary care.
The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished COVID-19 patients a speedy and full recovery.
It also urged society to cooperate with health authorities and maintain physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.
It also announced the recovery of a total of 579 more patients from the deadly virus, raising the total number of recoveries to 159,711.
