'Perhaps New Folks In DC Have Learned' Says Javad Zarif

The foreign minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif said that Trump, Pompeo & Co. are relegated to the dustbin of history in disgrace.

On his message on Twitter, he said, “Trump, Pompeo & Co. are relegated to the dustbin of history in disgrace. But the memories of Gen Soleimani & the 1000s murdered, maimed & starved of food & meds by Trump’s state—& economic—terrorism & crimes against humanity will shine on. Perhaps new folks in DC have learned.”

Earlier, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has said that the political career of those who unjustifiably imposed economic sanctions on Iran has ended.

He said that today the high example of tyrannical rule and ugly rule has come to an end and the political career of the dreamer of ending Iran by imposing economic sanctions has come to an end.

President Hassan Rouhani added that we are still present with full dignity, but Trump’s policies of excessive pressure on Iran have failed. Other parties also expressed disgust at the unilateral withdrawal of the United States from the global nuclear deal.

Note that, Joe Biden has been sworn in as the 46th President of the United States and shortly before his swearing-in, Kamala Harris became the first woman Vice President of the United States.

Donald Trump has finally left the White House for the final time as 45th president of the United States.

In a short farewell address at Andrews Air Base, Donald Trump thanked his family and wished the new administration well, but did not name newly elected President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
