The Islamic Republic of Iran slams out at the United States of America (USA) for sticking to the old and failed policies of former president Donald Trump said such a tactic would fail to save a nuclear deal.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote on Twitter that,
“US claims it favors diplomacy; not Trump’s failed policy of ‘maximum pressure,”
“Yet (US Secretary of State Antony Blinken) boasts abt blocking Korea from transferring our OWN money to the Swiss Channel — only used for food & meds,” he added.
“Repeating the same policy won’t yield new results.”
US president Joe Biden, who defeated Donald Trump in the US election of 2020 has given a green signal to resolve the deal that has been largely left in tatters by his predecessor’s decision to withdraw from it in 2018.
Also, Biden wants to return back at the agreement of 2015, which ensures to lift the sanctions on Iran, but this agreement was destroyed by the former president Donald Trump, who wanted to challenge the economy and sovereignty of Iran.
