Pakistan sends coronavirus relief goods to its brother country the Islamic Republic of Iraq on orders from Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The first aid was dispatched in the presence of the Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), also the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ambassador of Iraq present at that moment.

Furthermore, the next two batches of the relief goods will be sent in the upcoming week.

Pakistan and Iraq have very good strategic relationships, both the country’s ties rooted firmly in shared faith and values.

The pandemic situation is a challenge for all the countries, we can only fight against this challenge by supporting each other, Pakistani people and government stand by their Iraqi brethren in this difficult time.
