UAE ambassador to Israel Mohamed Al Khaja had a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.
Both discussed cooperation in dealing with coronavirus pandemic.
Al Khaja thanked the Israeli PM for the warm welcome he received on his arrival in Israel.
He said in a tweet, “I had the pleasure of meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel. We discussed UAE-Israeli relations and bilateral cooperation in combating the Covid-19 pandemic. I thank the Prime Minister for the warm welcome I have received in Israel.”

Moreover, Al Khaja also met Israeli minister Ophir Akunis to talk about issues of mutual interest.
Al Khaja became the first ambassador of the UAE to Israel after relations between the two countries came back to normal last year.
Al Khaja presented his credentials to Reven Rivlin, President of Israel, as the first UAE Ambassador to the State of Israel on March 1.
He said, “I look forward to representing my beloved country and working to strengthen cooperation and relations between our two countries.”
