Saudi Arabia: Man Killed After Attack From Lion
A civilian has lost his life in a sudden lion attack he had kept in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. The incident took place in the Al-Sali area.
According to the Arabic newspaper “Sabaq”, the security agencies had received a report of a lion attack on a Saudi citizen. The authorities then managed to free the citizen from the clutches of the lion.
However, Saudi citizen could not survive due to serious injuries.
A video is circulating online purportedly shows the lion dead after the incident reported. The authorities did not make any immediate comment.
The Saudi National Centre for Wildlife has frequently warned against the risks of rearing wild animals like Lions, saying violators risk penalties.
